The Power of Your Subconscious Mind

The subconscious mind is, by far, the biggest contributing factor to how you experience life. It holds all your memories, beliefs (even the limiting beliefs you don’t realize you’re carrying around!), habits, and all the programs that are essentially running the show called “Your Life”. All courtesy of your very own personalized computer hard-drive called  — your subconscious mind.convssubconsmind

The trick is learning to access, understand and utilize this awesome power, so you’re not running around on auto-pilot. Pretty much anything you want to change in your life has a corresponding subconscious component that you can reset to a more positive, successful program. Yes, it may take a little time and reinforcement (after all–haven’t all the programs running your life right now been reinforced for a lifetime??), but it’s worth it. Dedicating time to YOU, to learn more about yourself so that you can become the human being your were always meant to be.

subconsiousmindHypnosis is one of the most effective ways to access and transform the subconscious mind. By learning hypnosis and mastering relaxation techniques which allow you to have influence over your subconscious mind, you can make real progress on goals, dreams, negative habits, self esteem, work or relationship issues, etc. There’s nothing mysterious or difficult about it. It’s simple really. Once you have the tools you need to create true and lasting change, there’s very little you can’t accomplish. So, dream big. Practice hypnosis daily for a least a month. See a professional hypnotherapist if you need help learning how to best apply hypnotic techniques. Then just do it.

Make your subconscious mind your best friend. Learn to work with it, instead of against it. And watch your life transform.

You deserve this. Hypnosis works.

Standing Fate on its Head

A great read. 🙂

Posts of Hypnotic Suggestion

So there I was, complimenting a work colleague as you do, (or perhaps don’t depending on where you work I suppose), as part of the feedback I was giving and encouraging him to think about where he could use similar verbal communication techniques to maximum effect.

Obviously, in an effort to ensure that all relevant future-scuppering spirits were appropriately warded off by my apparent blasphemy at actually telling him he was good at something, (which he really was by the way), he spake unto me thusly: ‘Oh now you’re tempting fate! It’ll never go like that again’. He paused for a moment. ‘Mind you, if I pretend you never said it, maybe I’ll get away with it. Touch wood.’

Now I could ramble on here about the origins of wood touching and fate tempting but that’s not really the point. Habits are habits and depend an insanely large amount on…

The Space Between

There’s so much space between.

Space between thoughts, words, breaths, blinks, heartbeats, moments…..everything. Yet, we spend so much time focused on the busyness, action, expression—all those things that catch our attention and hold our focus. But in the middle of it all—is this beautiful space of pure being. So subtle we often miss it. Hidden in plain sight, we miss the peace, the being, the connection to a higher purpose—that is woven into the silent space.

This physical world is mostly space. There’s much more “space” in a tree, than there is “matter”. Of course, to see this you’d have to magnify it by 200-400x. Here’s a photo of the Paulownia Tree magnified by 200X to show you the amount of space that exists between something as visually solid as a tree.

Take a moment and allow yourself to tune into this space. Notice it exists. Notice the purity of it. Like a blank slate all around you and within you—a place where you can create without all the distraction of the physical world. Once you are aware of the space between everything, it actually becomes much easier to sense. And in this space, where physical life is on pause, you can connect to a state of awareness that fosters personal empowerment, peace of mind, strength of spirit and more.

With practice, the conscious acknowledgement of this part of your being can improve your life. This space can be experienced during meditation, hypnosis, deep breathing, exercise, and other mind-body states of being.

The space between is just as much a part of life as everything we can physical see, touch and experience. It just takes a shift in your awareness and a willingness to think outside of the box.

Here’s to your Happy Space!

Giving Up

I came across this blog post about giving up smoking and thought it was great! I asked Kylie’s permission to reblog her post and share info on the phone app called “Since I Quit” which helped her stay on track. Thanks Kylie!! 🙂 Hypnosis Works!

Today I am grateful for giving up. I’m not normally a quitter, or endorse throwing in the towel, but in this case I gave up smoking.

It’s been 12 months today since I stopped, and the only thought I have about it now is that I wonder why I didn’t do it sooner? It really was such an empowering decision to make.

For anyone who’s interested in the how, I had one session of hypnotherapy then stopped cold turkey, and I’ve never felt inclined to pick one up since.

As a reminder I have an app on my phone called ‘Since I Quit’, which calculates not only the length of time that’s passed, but the number of cigarettes I haven’t smoked, and the amount of money I’ve saved. Currently it says I haven’t smoked 2923.5 cigarettes which has saved me $2631.15.

Wow!

Hypnosis in No Time

Time management hasn’t always been a strength of mine. Especially when it comes to things I really need to do for myself. For years I had five kids in the house, which took all reserves of energy, patience and time. So even when I’d promise myself to do just DO IT (hypnosis, exercise, reading for relaxation)—I’d usually end up bumping “me time” for everyone else in the family. This choice often hurt more than it helped because I hadn’t given myself the same consideration and priority which left me drained.

Part of my problem was seeing everything in chunks of time that were much too large. Exercise takes one hour. Self hypnosis, thirty minutes. Reading for relaxation? Forget about it. So it would get postponed. And so would my peace of mind.

It wasn’t until I decided that something was better than nothing. Five minutes of exercise a few times a day was a start. And once you become accustomed to inducing hypnosis, you can get relaxed in mere seconds (maybe a minute or two on a really rough day). If people could learn to hypnotize themselves and program positive suggestions in just minutes—I knew that had to become part of my daily routine. Sometimes I do it first thing in the morning, sometimes at night, and sometimes right in the middle of the kids having an argument—which helps!

Self hypnosis is by far one of the best tools I use for peace of mind, stress reduction and personal change. Somehow, it just makes everything better.
